Acoustic Unplugged
Rules
Acoustic instruments only (guitar, piano, violin, etc.); no amplification beyond basic sound reinforcement; original compositions or covers both accepted; judged on musicality, tone, and performance intimacy.
Instrumental Jam
Rules
Any instrument (Indian classical, Western classical, or folk); solo or small ensemble; improvised sections welcomed; judged on technique, creativity, and musical dialogue between performers.
Battle of Bands
Rules
Full band format (minimum lead, rhythm, bass, drums); any genre; original songs or covers allowed; sound check slot allocated before performance; judged on musical tightness, energy, and audience engagement.
Rap & Beatbox
Rules
Original rap compositions strongly encouraged; beatbox may accompany or be standalone; any language (Hindi, English, regional); no offensive content; judged on flow, lyrical creativity, rhythm, and vocal control.
Folk Melody Showcase
Rules
Must represent a recognised Indian folk music tradition (e.g., Baul, Lavani, Bihu, Rajasthani folk, Maand); traditional instruments preferred; costumes encouraged; judged on authenticity, expression, and cultural presentation.
